Susan Chuang PhD, Family Mediation Certificate

Suasn Chuang, PhD, is a Full Professor at the University of Guelph, ON. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, majoring in Criminology and Sociology. She then obtained three graduate degrees from the University of Rochester, NY, USA (MSc in Elementary Education, MSc and PhD in Human Development). Afterwards, she was a postdoctoral fellow (resaerch training) for three years at the National Institutes of Health, Maryland, USA.

She has over 20 years of research experience on parenting, fathering, parent-child relatonships, family dynamics, mental health in various sociocultural contexts. She has co-written two undergraduate textbooks, published numerous articles and chapters, and has edited many books.
