Summary
Aubrey (he/him) is a Partner at Sherman Law LLP, an accredited family and intergenerational (elder) mediator, and certified collaborative divorce lawyer (OACP/IACP) with over 19 years of hands-on experience in helping families resolve conflict through consensual dispute resolution focusing on interest-based and insightful conversations. Aubrey is a member of the Board of Directors of OAFM. He is a resourceful negotiator, a strong communicator, and an empathetic lawyer-mediator who is quick to spot creative opportunities to resolve disputes. He has completed advanced family mediation and conflict management training and certificates through the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, University of Waterloo, The Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies at Conrad Grebel University College, ADRIO, and OAFM. Aubrey completed a certificate in Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) from FDRIO. He also completed a Family Law Skills and Practice Certificate from Osgoode Hall Law School. Aubrey is a graduate of York University, Faculty of Arts (Sociology) and University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, where he was the recipient of several awards and academic scholarships. He welcomes all modern families in his practice including same-sex couples and LGBTQ2plus. Aubrey works with families and couples who participate in good faith, with honesty, respect, and cooperation. He is an Online Dispute Resolution Specialist and assists clients throughout the Province of Ontario in-person and online through Zoom.
