Types of OAFM Membership

There are four categories of membership in OAFM based upon education, mediation training and experience. OAFM membership at all levels is for Ontario Membership only.

Accredited Family Mediator

Existing members with the designation Acc.FM (OAFM) may apply for this advanced status. Requires Professional Liability Insurance as well as other criteria which will be sent with your membership package.

Note that new Acc.FM applications are subject to a $300 non-refundable processing fee

Associate Member

Any interested persons who support the aims and objectives of OAFM and who endorse its Code of Professional Conduct and its Standards of Practice.

Supporting Member

Interested individuals, schools, organizations, libraries, law firms, government organizations, etc.
