SEARCH HELP
Mediator Search automatically starts in Home location mode and is sorted by Acc.FM as the mediator type.
Type in a letter(s) in the Search Criteria Box and then click on the Search button and you will get a new window listing all OAFM Accredited mediators with offices in the municipalities that begin with the letters that you have typed in.
Search criteria field input only searches by from the left. You cannot specify a letter string in the middle i.e. typing "o" in Search Criteria when searching for home location will only get results such as "Orillia", not "Toronto".
If you do not type in any letters in the Search Criteria Box, you will get a listing of ALL the members for that type of search, and specified member type.
You may specify searches by:
- Home Location
- Mediator LAST Name
- Area Code
- Postal Code
- Named City (See below)
Change the type of search by clicking the Type of Search pull-down menu and selecting the desired type.
Each search is modified by the type of OAFM Member you are looking for. Currently, only OAFM Accredited Mediators are searchable on the website:
- OAFM Accredited Mediator, or
Change the type of OAFM Member by clicking the Type of Member pull-down menu and selecting the desired membership criteria.
Note that you may use the map search as well, located here. Map search does not allow searching by member type (all members are listed).
Searching by Named City
On request, OAFM members may list multiple, specific municipalities as locales where they will provide their services, in addition to where their home office is located. The named city search shows all members who have listed a selected city as a place where they will provide their services.

CHILD PROTECTION MEDIATION
NOTICE: Next Child Protection Mediation Training has been set for Feb. 28, Mar. 1, 2, 2011 in Sudbury, Ontario.
Registration is open to those who have completed the prerequisite requirements as outlined on the CPMed website.
All interested mediators will now apply for the CPMed Training Course as well as the CPMed Roster with one application package. Please go to the website Forms section on the left side of this page for the Training Course/Roster Application Form, or find it here.
Leaders for this training are Maggie Hall, MSW, RSW, LLM, AccFM(OAFM) CPMed of The Mediation Centre in Hamilton, and Kathleen Chapman, LL.B, AccFM(OAFM), CPMed of The Mediation Centre Inc. in London.
The Training Course Application Form/CPMed Roster Application Form Package must be sent by fax to CPMed Roster Program 613-241-8711 in order to be approved for this CPMed Training Course. If approved for the training course, you will be contacted and course payment details will be made available to you. Cost for this training course is $600.00.
Note: The training course fee does not include the $100 CPMed Roster Application Fee of $100.00
